Youngsters will be able to take part in the sport of mountain boarding in the school summer holidays.
Worthing Borough Council has teamed up with Goring shop Dirt 'n' Surf to give introductions to the sport, which is similar to snow-boarding but performed on grass.
The sessions will be held at The Gallops in Findon Valley, Worthing, from August 12 to August 16.
Instructors will teach new riders to mount and dismount safely, turn with heels and toes and stop the board.
Once riders have mastered these skills, they will be able to test them on a specially-constructed temporary slalom course while also having a go at jumping over ramps.
All equipment, including boards and protective clothing, will be provided.
Morning sessions will be held from 9.30am to 12.30pm and afternoon sessions from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
