A racing pigeon from Belgium has stopped for a lengthy breather in Seaford.
The Carson family discovered it on an upstairs window sill and found it had a numbered leg tag.
Mother-of-two Vivienne Carson used an internet racing pigeon site to discover it had travelled from Belgium.
The bird has already been napping for two days and Mrs Carson and her sons Dominic, seven, and Luke, five, have given it water and wild bird food.
Mrs Carson said: "We've taken photos and will send them to its owner to say he was visiting us."
