Charity workers have captured a family of feral cats after one of them was shot with an air gun.
The animals were living on allotments in Hollingdean, Brighton, when someone found one of the kittens dead.
Volunteers from the animal charity Cat Rescue at Telscombe Cliffs will now try to rehabilitate the cats so they can be re-homed.
The centre relies on donations and one of the charity's volunteers is holding a garage sale of bric-a-brac on Saturday at 34 Farm Hill, Woodingdean, from 10am to 4pm.
Anyone who can offer a cat a home should call 01273 580464.
