Where are all the promised policemen?

I am quite aware of the alleged failings of the previous two chief constables and the apparent way in which the once wonderful name of Sussex Police has degenerated.

The good and very efficient days of Sussex Police under the leadership of Sir George Terry are sadly long gone.

The new chief constable has promised a lot but, so far, I have seen little change.

The residents deserve so much more from their police, wherever you live in Sussex.

We have all had to pay extra for our police but what exactly are we paying for?

Surely this cannot be a con, can it? I would like to hear from the chief constable as to where all the policemen are.
