A man accused of murdering Brighton schoolteacher Jane Longhurst was appearing in court today.
Graham Coutts, 35, of Waterloo Street, Hove, is charged with murdering miss Longhurst between March 14 and April 19.
A preliminary hearing to attend to legal matters and hear Coutts's plea was being held at Lewes Crown Court this morning.
Miss Longhurst, 31, of Shaftesbury Road, Brighton, disappeared on March 14.
Her body was found in woodlands at a bird sanctuary near Pulborough on April 19. She had been strangled.
