Lawrence Jones, Lion and Lobster, Brighton, August 3 from 5pm and August 7 (evening). Free. US flute and baritone sax titan leads his Allstars in two action-packed sessions.
Billy Rumfitt, Snowdrop, Lewes, August 4, 8.30pm. Free. Accomplished jazz funk trombonist featured with the John Banks Group.
Ian Price, John Harvey Tavern, Lewes, August 4, 8.30pm. Free. Hare and Hounds, Worthing, August 5, 8.30pm, free. Two shows from the tenor sax wizard's quartet, featuring Simon Robinson, Nigel Thomas and Dave Trigwell.
