A man who took indecent pictures of a 13-year-old girl as she slept has been jailed.
Raymond Haffenden plied the girl with drink when she spent the night at his home, a court heard.
The girl later told relatives she had gone to sleep fully clothed but had woken to find herself naked from the waist down.
Haffenden later boasted to a friend he had pictures of the girl posing naked in his bed and called her a hussy.
Police were called and 30 indecent pictures of the girl were found in his bedroom and on a computer, Hove Crown Court heard.
Richard Cherrill, prosecuting, said: "He was less than frank when interviewed by police and had first claimed his daughter had taken the pictures.
"He said he had found them while looking for something else and had printed them so he could later destroy them."
Haffenden, 51, of Wilmington Way, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to making and possessing indecent photographs of a child between February and April last year.
Judge Charles Kemp jailed Haffenden for three-and-a-half years.
He also ordered Haffenden to remain on the Sex Offenders register for the rest of his life.
