Here we go again. A body is found in the sea so the police seal off the beach. Why? The body almost certainly came from elsewhere.
A woman is killed in an accident in Chapel Road, Worthing, and the road is closed for four hours.
There have been many other such incidents and it is time the police realised their job is to keep things open and moving.
In the past, all casualties were cleared and then the road was re-opened. Now it is closed while the police make meaningless and futile "forensic examinations".
Years ago, the police upheld the law. Now they think they are the law.
It is sad they have lost the support of many people who used to support them.
I challenge a senior officer to answer.
