A company creating and manufacturing jumbo wall stickers has been named one of the 20 brightest new enterprises in Britain.
Eastbourne-based FunToSee fought off 600 entrants to reach the semi-finals of the HSBC Start-Up Stars Awards.
Owners Rachel Sellers and Louise Dutton are hoping to make it to the final and win the top prize of £20,000.
FunToSee creates removable jumbo wall stickers to brighten up rooms for youngsters.
The idea was inspired by Louise, a former designer for a ferry publication, who had recreated giant undersea images on self-adhesive vinyl to decorate her baby's nursery.
Rachel, a former teacher and editor of children's activity magazines, set about researching the market.
The pair spent more than two years developing the idea before trading began in July 2002.
Its customers include John Lewis, QVC and several mail order directories.
