The coming bank holiday will be a chance for gardeners to enjoy a cornucopia of colour at an annual horticultural show.
The Worthing Horticultural Society is to hold the third of its annual shows at the Methodist Church Hall, The Steyne, Worthing on Monday.
The show opens at noon and continues until 4pm, with prize-giving at 3.50pm.
It will contain all the usual classes, including flowers, fruit, vegetables, cactuses, wine, cookery and children.
There will also be floral display lessons.
The highlights this year, according to the society, will be the entries in the chrysanthemum and dahlia classes.
The show, which takes place at the north-east end of The Steyne, will coincide with the finish of the bank holiday float procession.
Society spokesman Paul Brownlee said: "We would be delighted to see those who would like to have a wander round after seeing the procession.
"There will, of course, be the usual sales tables, tombola and refreshments available to visitors."
