Buildings and open spaces that are at risk will come under the spotlight at a new exhibition.
The Worthing Society is holding its annual exhibition focusing attention on the many architecturally or historically important buildings and open spaces which are under threat in Worthing or have already been lost.
Issues that will be highlighted include the proposed Asda superstore near Field Place, the West Durrington housing development, the boundaries of the proposed South Downs national park and Castle Goring, one of only two Grade I listed buildings in the Worthing area.
The threatened demolition of the Victorian John Horniman School building and the creation of a cyclepath along the seafront will also be featured.
A Worthing Society spokesman said: "We sincerely hope our exhibition will encourage residents to sit up and take notice of their heritage that is disappearing at an ever-increasing pace."
The exhibition is being held at Worthing library from Saturday to September 6.
