MY wife and sister-in-law wanted their two yearly test for ovarian cancer at the Jan De Winter Clinic in New Road but I rang to find the clinic closed down.
However, I did manage to speak to the great man himself and he told me that due to lack of donations etc they had been forced to close.
Although registered as a charity, a lottery grant was turned down as not deserving enough. But the lottery wastes millions on such things as the West Pier and asylum seekers.
I know three ladies who owe their lives to this clinic.
