Last week I dared to put my rubbish outside my garage for collection before the due date because I was going on holiday.

A neighbour took it upon herself to enforce a strict punishment upon me.

She carried my black sacks some distance and dumped them up against my front door.

She then reported my crime to the council and I awaited my sentence. An official came round to see me after I rang and couldn't have been more helpful, reassuring me I would not be hung, drawn and quartered.

So thank you Brighton and Hove City Council for being so quick and friendly.

Perhaps my neighbour could learn a few tips from your human approach.
