Having just read your article on cyclists along Brighton and Hove's seafront (The Argus, August 22), I felt that although cycling on the pavement is wrong this is very one-sided.
As a regular user of the seafront cycle lane, I find it full of pedestrians during the summer months. Are these people to be fined for endangering cyclists?
If I fell off because a pedestrian stepped into the cycle lane would they be prosecuted? Many people aren't aware the cycle lane is there so doesn't this call for better markings and signs?
