This year, being the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic, the Newhaven Local and Maritime Museum is mounting a small exhibition to mark the occasion.
Many of the exhibits are on loan for this one-off show and are unlikely to be seen again.
The museum will be open from 2pm to 4pm daily during the exhibition, which will last throughout September.
Come along and see a model of one of the Flower Class Corvettes which saved our bacon in that long, lonely battle to the death.
Also on show is a model of a type V11 B U-boat, one of the infamous Lang Grau Wolfen which nearly destroyed us in both world wars.
So, do come and see this little show which is at Tates Paradise Family Leisure Park, Newhaven.
You'll not see its like again.
