Could I suggest The Argus considers a fortnightly feature in which Brighton and Hove City Council leader Ken Bodfish answers specific questions submitted by readers?
I feel sure Coun Bodfish would agree in view of his often stated policy of openness and listening to the wishes of residents and businesses.
My own questions at this time would be:
1. What was the total cost last year of sums paid to external agencies, advisors and research companies for consultation services and development concepts for the City?
2. Would he confirm that should the proposed "Tin Can" development of the King Alfred with Karis not go ahead there will be no cost to taxpayers? He has previously stated the development will be at no cost to the City.
3. Would he give an indicative price for the sale or rental of the the affordable housing within the proposed Karis/King Alfred development?
