Boss Garry Wilson has warned fans not to get carried away by Eastbourne Borough's storming start in the premier division.

A 3-1 win over Dover on Bank Holiday Monday briefly took Borough to the top of the table.

They relinquished the position later that evening on goal difference when Worcester City beat Moor Green 3-0.

Borough, promoted last season, face third-placed Nuneaton Borough tomorrow, the bookies' favourites for the title.

Wilson said: "It is a big game for us but we are determined to enjoy the experience.

"However, no one should get carried away. We never dreamed we could start this well. We won't get too excited but we are pretty pleased at the moment.

"We have ten points from our first four games but the games get harder from here. We have Nuneaton, Crawley and Hinkley United to come.

"The players have to keep the same attitude.

"We have shown a bit of character in our first few games and also a bit of quality where it counts."

Striker Scott Ramsay, who attracted plenty of attention from League clubs last season, was on the scoresheet against his former club Dover and should be fit for the trip to the Midlands despite coming off in the last few minutes on Monday with a tight hamstring.

Wilson said: "He has been having treatment and it will be a late decision. We won't take a gamble if he is not 100 per cent fit."
