What an inspirational vision for the West Pier by Arthur North to create an eco-friendly solar palace in the ruins of the West Pier.
How brilliant to use the original structure in such a modern way and provide a relaxing haven on the seafront.
The added bonus would be the revenue from the electricity generated for the city. I hope the council and the West Pier Trust seriously consider this idea.
It would be a completely different attraction for residents and visitors and pose no competition to the Palace Pier.
A 60 per cent grant from the Government is an opportunity too good to miss.
Come on, The Argus, get behind this idea and find out what the people of Brighton and Hove think.
