Invitation League: Arundel blew the chance of winning their first title for 20 years after losing by five wickets at Ifield.
Arundel led the division for most of the season and were only overtaken by Findon in the last two weeks of the campaign.
Arundel captain Steve Mullen was furious at how Ifield played the game and accused them of deliberately time wasting to ensure Findon took the title.
Ifield took three hours to bowl 43 overs with Clint Hewison taking 5-57, leaving Arundel declaring on 165-8 after Joel Wiles had top scored with 64 not out.
Batsmen Peter Dickson (58) and Aamir Riaz (42 not out) did the damage in reply as Ifield finished on 166-5 to ensure they ended the season in fourth place.
Mullen now wants to see a rule change by the league to ensure teams are no longer allowed to waste time during matches.
He said: "I am livid because there was so much gamesmanship going on by Ifield.
"We were aiming for 200 runs, but they were taking so long that I had to declare early. It now turns out that if we had reached 200 we would have won the league.
"Ifield told us they wanted Findon to win the league and the way they played the game left a bitter taste in the mouth.
"Good luck to Findon, they are worthy winners, but I do think the league has to take action and change the rules. If they don't then this kind of thing will happen every year and it spoils it."
