Parkridge wants to build 1,000 new homes at Brighton Marina. It should be allowed to do so, providing they are social homes for the thousands of people on the council house waiting list.
They should not be luxury or "affordable" homes because no-one can afford a new home on wages of £15,000 to £30,000.
There is an underclass of people being priced out of the market because of poor wages in Brighton.
It is about time Brighton and Hove City Council realised this.
