Ryman League: Matt Russell ended a five-and-a-half-game goal drought, then saw the strike given to a team-mate.
Russell's clincher in the midweek win over Harrow was erroneously given to Jodey Rowland when a club official phoned through match details.
It was clearly Russell's goal, however, taking him to 95 for the club and keen to add more as Rocks tackle their toughest series of premier division games to date.
Tomorrow's visit of Hayes kicks off a daunting week which also includes trips to Aylesbury and Kettering but Rocks will tackle them in great heart after taking 13 points from 18 so far.
Russell, 24, admitted: "I was relieved to get off the mark.
"I've been playing up front by myself and the chances haven't been coming like last year.
"The only thing that was missing was a goal. This is probably the longest I have had to wait for a goal at the start of the season but I've tried to work my socks off."
Tommy Warrilow is set to return at the back for Horsham as they chase a first division one south win of the season against Molesey.
Warrilow replaces Eddie French, who serves a one-game ban.
Gavin Geddes goes straight into the Worthing squad to face Met Police after his move from Horsham andmight start.
