We have just had utter mayhem in our road. Cars had to be moved or towed away because of road resurfacing.
It was a two-day job and looked wonderful when complete.
Now, just days after it has been finished, we have received a letter telling us the road is being dug up for sewer repairs and the work will last two weeks.
Don't departments at our council offices talk to each other? Who pays for the road to be resurfaced again? We do, out of our council tax, I suppose.
This council has a lot to answer for. Waste, waste, waste.
