A jury will be called to rule on the death of a man killed by a boat skippered by his brother.
Ian Langan, a 45-year-old chef, of Springfield Road, Brighton, died off Brighton Marina last August when his speedboat was speared by another boat being steered by his brother Cliff, then 44.
The jury inquest begins at Brighton Magistrates Court on September 29 and is scheduled to last four days.
Cliff Langan, who lives at the marina, was arrested following the death but no charges were pursued.
