Brighton last weekend was notable for the constant thunder of motorcycle engines.
Almost every square inch of Old Steine, Madeira Drive and the seafront was packed solid with two-wheeled machines and, to top it all, there was a festival of speed up on the racecourse.
Having witnessed several wheelies at speed, some very irresponsible parking and two kids no older than 12 being set on their way on motorised scooters by their parents along the cycle path on King's Road, I shook my head in disbelief, wondering why Brighton tolerates bad behaviour en-masse.
What example are speed trials along Madeira Drive setting?
How is it that you can ride a motorcycle on the pavement and terrify pedestrians just because you have the title of a reunion or a festival?
