In response to John Jolliffe and Jean Taylor-Bacon (Letters, September 19), we are not sure why the Greens are campaigning for the Community Gateway model either.
The one option which is not being properly discussed is the one most tenants want - investment in council housing with no strings attached.
Any assistance Solon can offer will be more than welcome but if tenants want to save council housing they must act now.
Those who want to join a serious campaign or just find out more should attend the public meeting on Thursday at 7pm at Hampshire Court, Upper St James's Street, and hear what local housing experts, trades unionists and campaigners have to say.
