Many UK online marketers are reluctant to admit it but the industry has a reputation for unsolicited emails, underhand promotional tactics and worse.
To help address these issues, two online marketers have launched a free e-zine - Marketing Karma - dedicated to ethical, "best practice" online marketing for UK marketers and small businesses.
Robin Houghton, from Lewes, who produces the e-zine with search engine marketer Sam Steane, from Emsworth, Hampshire, said: "We unmask the cowboy tactics, analyse the trends and highlight the news - the interesting stuff, that is."
The current edition is available at www.marketingkarma.co.uk
