Burgess Hill boss Gary Croydon is promising big changes after his side crashed out of the Cup at Ryman club Boreham Wood.
Croydon said: "Clearly we simply were not good enough and heads will roll. Watch this space."
Hillians started with central defender Ben Andrews up front but Croydon was already threatening to revert to norm before an injury to Jay Head forced his hand on 17 minutes.
Lively Wood threatened goals from the start but crammed all their strikes into a 14-minute spell either side of half time.
Gifted Sammy Winston was the destroyer-in-chief with a hat-trick after opening his account from the penalty spot on 37 minutes and he also set up the other goal with a precision cross for Joe Baker less than two minutes later.
