Regarding your story "Lucky Jordan escapes arrest" (The Argus, October 2), I would like to inform you that you do not have the monopoly on this kind of thing.
Not so long ago, a man here was caught speeding way over the 100 kilometre limit.
His excuse was the vehicle he was driving was a very safe car - and the road was perfectly clear with no other traffic.
This was accepted by the court and the conviction was quashed.
Oh yes, he was driving a Bently Corniche and he was a multi-millionaire businessman.
