Haywards Heath can learn a lesson from their latest victors as they bid to stay up.
Barking, marshalled by outside half Casey Mee, won 37-5 at Whitemans Green to remain unbeaten at the top of Division Three South.
Heath, meanwhile, have lost their first four games and have a tough trip to North Walsham next on the agenda.
Barking's resurgence has come despite losing the first six games of last season and Heath director of coaching Steve Heaton is confident his side can also bounce back.
Heaton said: "The season is not based on the first five or six games.
"We now know the standard of rugby that the leading clubs are capable of but we have also shown we can live with these teams for long periods.
"If we continue to improve and build on these lessons then we will start getting the results that we know we can achieve."
Henry Goodburn scored his first National League try with a 40-yard finish after good work from debutant James Mackie.
By then, though, the contest was over.
Mee kicked an early penalty for Barking, either side of a bright spell by Heath which saw Alex Meredith get over the line but have the ball held up by desperate defenders.
Home prop Darren Shadbolt was in the sin bin when Barking extended their lead with a penalty try with Heath standing offside. Mee converted before adding a score of his own.
Mee created a score for Paul Ansell before hooker Justin Murphy and No. 8 Rob Batho finished off lineout routines. Wing Dorstan McDonald rounded it all off.
