Hastings United picked up a useful point away to Erith and Belvedere.

Carl Rook opened the scoring for United after two minutes, hooking into the roof of the net from eight yards.

But Erith came back into the game and grabbed the equaliser ten minutes before the break.

Hastings keeper Will Toal had pulled off one good save to keep his side in front but could do nothing with a shot from Adam Morrish that went in off the far post.

Meanwhile, Burgess Hill are still making mistakes and learning hard lessons after they lost 2-1 at Dartford.

The win brought Darts their first home league win. Lively Zimbabwean Tostoa Kwashi opened the scoring on 11 minutes and then set up the second for Tommy Martin after 34 minutes.

Hillians pulled one back after 64 minutes when Steve Harper's poor free kick trickled through the hands and legs of Jimmy Simpson.
