With reference your report in of October 16, I have not seen the plans for the proposed Tesco store in West Street, Rottingdean, but was it necessary for both Labour councillor Delia Forester and conservationist John Small to be so scathing?
Have they visited the site closely recently and witnessed the repulsive dilapidation? Would they rather it remained so?
This site calls for a lot of co-operation on both sides or Rottingdean will have a slum on its hands, plus provision shortages akin to wartime.
