The consensual style of leadership championed by England soccer manager Sven Goran Eriksson is proving increasingly popular in workplaces.
A survey of 2,000 workers and 250 human resource managers showed that leadership style had changed in four out of five firms since the economic boom of the late Nineties.
Only 13 per cent of organisations practised an autocratic way of management, down from 49 per cent three years ago, according to recruitment firm Reed.
