Well done to Brighton and Hove City Council for deciding to build a new ice rink and sports centre (The Argus, October 23).
The Black Rock development will breathe new life into the City and hopefully we can produce home-grown Olympic ice skating champions as we have in the past.
Another great benefit will be the reappearance of the famous Brighton Tigers ice hockey team.
If as many people support them as did in the old sports stadium, the new venue will be an instant success.
