Crawley boss Francis Vines is not fazed by the prospect of an away trip to face either Telford or Tamworth in the first round of the FA Cup.
His side returned jubilant from their trip to Gloucestershire after producing a strong second-half surge to beat Dr Martens Western Division outfit Cirencester Town 4-2.
An opening goal by Justin Gregory was followed after the interval by a double strike from substitute Joff Vansittart and a last-minute clincher from Nigel Brake.
The day ended perfectly for Reds when striker Carl Wilson-Denis decided to stay with Crawley for the rest of the season after being released by Albion last week and will sign a deal later this week.
Vines said: "I'm not afraid of playing either Telford or Tamworth. We're in a better position than them in our league and they're going to be under pressure, facing a side which is riding high.
"But I won't allow the FA Cup to mess up our season. Last year we reached the second round and our league season ended up going pear-shaped."
Vines wasn't entirely happy with his Dr Martens Premier team's performance. He said: "I was a bit disappointed with the way we played. We were a bit one-paced going forward and waiting for things to happen.
"We were not putting their players under pressure which made the game more thrilling than it should have been.
"Cirencester had a couple of good players up front and played a couple of levels higher than they should have done."
A good-sized travelling support enjoyed an exciting spectacle with Gregory rising above his marker to head Reds into a 13th-minute lead from a Mo Harkin cross.
Gareth Hopkins nodded Cirencester back on level terms just before the break.
On the hour Vines brought on Vansittart and Jay Richardson in place of Fabian Forde and Peter Fear.
Vansittart volleyed in Crawley's second on 63 minutes from a Nigel Brake cross, then added another after 75 minutes from eight yards after being teed up by Ian Payne.
The hosts hit back in a late flurry with an 84th-minute goal by Marc Richards, but Brake sealed victory with a nicely-taken 90th-minute strike from just inside the area.
