Two Sussex servicemen have been given awards for bravery in Iraq.
Senior Aircraftsman Christian Tobin, 23, formerly of Eastbourne, and Second Officer Graham Lloyd, from Hove, will receive the Queen's Commendation for Bravery.
Mr Tobin, based at RAF St Mawgan, near Newquay, and Mr Lloyd, were among 350 servicemen and women named in the list today, which included a 19-year-old who was awarded the George Cross.
While on duty in Iraq, Mr Tobin watched in horror as colleagues in a Land Rover hit an anti-tank mine, sending the driver flying.
He crossed a minefield to rescue his wounded comrade and give him first aid.
He got on the radio straight away to summon help.
No details were released on the circumstances surrounding Mr Lloyd's award.
Chief of the Defence Staff, General Sir Michael Walker said: "The men and women who serve in Britain's Armed Forces never fail to draw the admiration of people all over the world.
"Those honoured today represent all that is finest in their willingness to take on the toughest tasks, to face many dangers and to make sacrifices. We should be proud of every one."
