Soccer legend Sir Geoff Hurst passed on some of his football wisdom to young Sussex players.
The England hero was at the Falmer Sports Complex, University of Sussex, as part of the McDonald's FA football coaching programme.
He met under-11s from Adur Athletic, Hangleton Rangers, Fishersgate Community Association and Lancing Rangers during the session.
The boy and girl players were also entertained by Eric Harrison, who coached David Beckham.
Six community football coaches were at the session, among the first of 240 the scheme hopes to recruit in Sussex.
Each young player left the session with a signed photograph of Sir Geoff's famous They Think It's All Over goal from the 1966 World Cup final.
