I hope someone out there can help with my wandering cat.

We moved house nearly a year ago and one of my cats keeps returning to our former home.

He is 11 now and every month or so he goes walkabout, travelling about half a mile across busy main roads.

I have tried keeping him in, butter on his paws etc, but he still goes back to his old stomping ground.

I don't think he has a girlfriend or a new friendly family so why does he do it?

Any ideas would be very much appreciated indeed.
