Lewes stretched their lead at the top of division one to six points after a comfortable win at Metropolitan Police but victory came at a price.
The only downside for Lewes manager Steven King was an injury to Lee Newman, which leaves him with no recognised strikers going into Tuesday night's trip to lowly Epsom and Ewell.
Paul Kennett headed home a Danny Davis free kick after only 43 seconds to set Lewes on their way and Davis added a second after a quarter-of-an-hour from the edge of the box.
Peter Adeniyi cut in from the right flank and curled in a third on 54 minutes to seal the points, and Junior Kadi made it 4-0 with the goal of the game with just under 15 minutes left.
Eric Tomlinson reduced the arrears in the last minute with a hotly-disputed penalty.
