One day I was waiting at a bus stop in Brighton. There was an elderly man who leaned on a stick and I wondered how he would get on the bus.
When one came, the door opened and the step was lowered so I was very surprised and impressed by your bus system.
In Tokyo, there is a huge transport system - buses, underground, trains, taxis and, of course, many cars.
Because of this, there are always heavy traffic jams everywhere. If I get on a bus, I don't know when I will arrive at my destination, so we usually use the underground or train.
Japanese buses don't have lowered floors and spaces for prams so they aren't good for elderly people and mothers with children.
I hope my city, Tokyo, adopts Brighton's bus system soon.
