Nick Nurse is ready for a battle of wits with one of his NBA idols as Brighton Bears chase a first European win.
Bears host Lietuvos Rytas before what is likely to be a packed house at the Brighton Centre tomorrow (8pm).
The Lithuanians, who top ULEB Cup Group F, are led by Dickey Simpkins, a three-times NBA champion with Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls.
Bears coach Nurse said: "I've seen a lot of him. I bought the tapes of just about every Bulls game for three years around the time he was there.
"He's a true professional and a very experienced guy.
"He was brought back year after year to play alongside the biggest superstar in the world, so that shows how good he is."
Bears add Dave Morgan to the team which stunned Sheffield in the league on Saturday, though tomorrow's opponents will provide another step up in quality.
Nurse added: "They are big, efficient and they made quick decisions so it is going to be a huge test."
Tickets for tomorrow night's game are available from the Brighton Centre box office.
