Six men suspected of raising funds for terror groups are still being questioned by Sussex Police.
The men, all of North African origin and in their mid-20s, were held under anti-terrorism legislation, following raids on houses in Eastbourne and Hastings.
The arrests were made by officers investigating a suspected large-scale cheque and credit card fraud operation.
One man was arrested on Tuesday night, while the others were taken into custody on Thursday and Friday. Two are from Eastbourne, two from Hastings and two from London.
Police said the arrests were not connected to others under anti-terrorist legislation.
Police in Gloucester arrested devout Muslim Sajid Badat on Thursday on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities.
He is being questioned at Paddington Green police station in London and detectives must decide today whether to release him or apply for a further 36 hours to question him.
