The mother of murdered Sarah Payne has given birth to a baby girl.
Sara Payne, 34, is said to be "doing well" after delivering her 7lb 14oz daughter at home in Hersham, Surrey.
One of the first to send congratulations was grandmother Lesley Payne, who lives in Kingston Gorse, near Littlehampton, where paedophile Roy Whiting abducted Sarah in 2000.
Mrs Payne said the baby had yet to be given a name but she was healthy.
The baby's father, Michael, is believed to have been present at the birth despite reports the couple had split.
Mrs Payne said: "He's over the moon."
Sara also has two sons, Lee, 16, and Luke, 14, and a daughter, Charlotte.
