I have been made aware of "an urgent letter" regarding bins and addressed to the "Regency Ward".
But I haven't received it and nor have the 20 people I have just phoned. Who in Regency Ward is this letter going to?
We were told at a recent meeting that Brighton had been surveyed but none of the 100-plus residents of this area in attendance had been.
The least that the council could ensure is that those residents who will have to cope with a monolithic bin outside their gate are consulted.
Every street these eyesores are being placed in is a conservation area and has a shortage of residents' parking, with each bin taking up two bays.
Consultation on this totally flawed proposal has been non-existent. It is a disgrace.
