Chichester went six points clear at the top of County League division one after an impressive win at Whitehawk.
Adie Girdler's side bounced back from Saturday's 4-1 defeat at home to Eastbourne Town thanks a 55th minute header from defender Paul Jones.
Girdler said: "You would always settle for a point away to Whitehawk, so three is very pleasing especially after the result on Saturday."
An 89th minute strike from Darren Gearing earned Ringmer a 1-1 draw at Three Bridges. Pat Massaro had put the hosts ahead.
The biggest crowd of the night saw Littlehampton trounce leaders Worthing United 5-0 in division two with goals from Mark Price, Derek Chester, Jan Miller and Clinton More (two).
Manager Carl Stabler said: "In the second half we were very good."
