A man and a woman were taken to hospital after they were hit by a bus.
The accident took place at 3pm yesterday outside the One-Stop Travel Shop in St James Street, by the Old Steine in Brighton.
Both casualties were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, although their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The bus driver was shaken but declined treatment.
A witness said: "I heard a big bang and saw the windscreen of the bus had shattered and there were two people on the ground."
Police, three ambulances and a paramedic attended.
