A charity which supports people with HIV/Aids is hoping for a record turnout for its annual half marathon.
The Sussex Beacon attracted more than 1,600 runners to its 2003 race in Brighton, raising thousands of pounds.
Comedian Steve Coogan, who officially started last year's race, said: "Get fit, do some good, join in and have fun."
The half marathon takes place on February 22 and starts and finishes in Madeira Drive.
Many who take part use it as a warm-up for the London Marathon.
This year the race is wide open for runners of all abilities and anyone over the age of 17 years can take part.
Julie Hales, community fund-raiser at the Sussex Beacon, said: "The race is an excellent opportunity to raise funds for your favourite charity.
"We encourage people to raise sponsorship for getting fit enough to run the 13.1 miles."
Entry forms and further details can be downloaded on the Sussex Beacon web site at www.sussexbeacon.org.uk.
Alternatively, send a stamped addressed envelope to Sussex Beacon Half Marathon, Bevendean Road, Brighton BN2 4DE.
All proceeds from the event will help the charity continue to provide specialist medical care and support for men and women living with HIV and Aids.
