Steve Johnson got his big weekend off to a perfect start by masterminding a 2-1 win away to the league leaders.
The Arundel, boss, however, refused to describe his side's result at Chichester as a shock as he crossed his fingers for a real turn-up at Yeovil on Sunday.
Johnson is brother of Gary, the Yeovil boss, and was heading west on Saturday night to watch the FA Cup tie with Liverpool.
He did so in great heart after Miles Scerri and Gary Norgate scored to beat the leaders.
Johnson insisted: "The result wasn't a shock. If we play well we've got a chance against anyone.
"It wasn't the prettiest game in the world but we battled well."
Scerri grabbed his 34th of the season from close range but Paul Thomas equalised from the spot.
Norgate fired the winner after going forward for a corner.
