Worthing admit their season could hinge on how they fare against leaders Hertford.
With Haywards Heath on their travels, Sussex still stages some attractive league matches with two divisional leaders heading to the county.
The clash at Roundstone Lane, where London One pacesetters Hertford visit, is the pick of them.
Worthing coach Ian Davies said: "If we lose we are out of the title race but if we win we'll be safe from relegation."
In reality, Worthing are virtually safe from the drop already after six successive wins but back-to-back promotions will remain a possibility if they win on Saturday.
Hertford have already beaten Worthing in league and cup and Davies knows what to expect. He said: "They are very uncompromising up front and if we give away any penalties Neil Barella will slot them over.
"That cost us the game at their place. He kicked six out of six."
Simon Alcott, Ben Dudley and Roly Killeen are all nursing knocks but Hertford have suffered a bigger setback with David Von Kotze, their Australian outside half, having returned home.
Lewes can do themselves and the rest of London Three South East a favour by beating Dartfordians.
The Kent side are three points clear of the rest, with Lewes and Maidstone their nearest challengers.
Lewes skipper Dave Hemsley insists that lead can be cut. He said: "We know they are beatable. They have got big forwards and backs and if we play a fast game we can get the points."
Lock Terry Jordan is out injured, along with long-term absentees Tim Hemsley and Liam Craig-Davies.
Chichester are also in the running for at least the play-off place ahead of their trip to Sevenoaks.
Bognor are convinced they can win at Brighton despite the loss of forwards Lee Williams and Phil Hastings plus scrum half Billy Toone.
Haywards Heath are at Launceston in National Three South.
Henry Goodburn, Jon Groenen and Mark Pymm all return to the threequarter line with Adam Phillips, Stuart Charnley and Nick Stocker unavailable.
There is a change at prop too as Emmet Edwards replaces Adrian Cassidy.
