Ian Payne is confident Crawley Town can beat Conference side Dagenham and Redbridge in Tuesday night's third round replay at Broadfield Stadium.
Payne was a rock in the Reds' defence as they held out under intense pressure at Victoria Road Payne said: "That's twice we've played Conference sides this season and we haven't disgraced ourselves on either occasion.
"Dagenham came at us and we defended well but at home we can have a lot more of a go at them."
Crawley looked dangerous in the first half with Justin Gregory being denied by goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt after ten minutes while Paul Armstrong and Kevin Hemsley both went close to breaking the deadlock.
However, Francis Vines' side were fortunate to go in level at the break as the Daggers hit the woodwork twice and Chris Piper had a goal disallowed for offside.
The home side turned up the pressure after the break as Tarkan Mustafa had a penalty appeal turned down after a challenge by Gregory and Richard Pacquette saw a diving header roll across the face of goal but Crawley managed to hang on for a replay.
Mark Knee scored twice following an early strike from Sam Francis as Worthing swept into the last 32 with a convincing 3-0 home victory over Taunton Town.
The Rebels produced some of their best football of the season in the first half on their way to a fifth consecutive win against Dr Martens western division opposition.
Francis gave his side the perfect start on seven minutes by firing in his 24th of the season from 20 yards.
Taunton's Adrian Foster clipped the bar with a header before Knee doubled the lead on 20 minutes from six yards after a move involving Wesley Lopez and Francis.
Worthing sealed victory when, from a free kick by Lopez, Knee smashed in an unstoppable 25-yard drive into the top right hand corner.
Former Albion keeper Will Packham ensured a clean sheet by saving a free-kick from Danny Harris and Taunton's misery was completed in the last minute when substitute Gary Fisher was sent off for kicking the ball at Owen Hill while the Worthing defender was on the ground receiving treatment.
