Snowy the wonderhen is no ordinary chicken - not only does she tackle her own SAS-style assault course, she has also taken up bareback riding on four-legged friend, Woody the pony.
Owner Bev Robson, who keeps the animals on land off Buckholt Lane, Bexhill, was left speechless as Snowy made her way around the obstacle course laid out by her six-year-old daughter, Georgia.
They watched as the stunt chicken raced along ladders, across tightropes, through a tunnel and zig-zagged through a tricky slalom course, finishing in style by hopping on to Woody's back.
Snowy then showed off her horse-riding skills by taking Woody for a trot around his field.
Mrs Robson, 41, said Snowy was the most intelligent chicken she had owned and could not believe what she had seen.
She said: "One day when I was down at the coop I was ignoring her a bit and to get my attention she just jumped up on the pony and started riding around.
"It is amazing. We have had to set up the course for her as she would just get so bored.
"She loves showing off by going around the course. At the end of it I give her a cat biscuit, which she really enjoys."
Snowy was given her name because she had white feathers around her head and neck when the family first got her.
Mrs Robson said: "My daughter Georgia loves her to bits and when we have the eggs she says that Snowy's taste the best."
